Quick & Easy Drinks With Coca Cola

Messaging below is intended for ages 21+ and is intended to be enjoyed responsibly, in moderation.

Ever since I started taking Thrive and working out {more to come on that later} I have cut my soda intake to one soda a day if that, which is a huge deal because I was slamming sodas like crazy, but I do like to have a good drink very now and again and for me, that requires soda because I’m liquor kinda girl ya know? Therefore, I still like to have a few sodas n the house. Well, while I was getting my grocery shopping on; I noticed these 4 pack of Coca-Cola NCAA® Cans Final Four Pack available at Walmart. They came in Vanilla Coke, Cherry Coke, and Coke zero. I grabbed one of each and an extra Cherry Coke because I know my husband loves his Cherry Coke. :)

I think having friends over and sharing the Coca-Cola NCAA® Final Four Pack and making the drinks I’m fixing to share with y’all would be so much fun! I grabbed three different flavors so, there is something for everyone. I really enjoyed the two different alcoholic drinks I mixed into the different flavors and the lime and lemon really gave it something different.

You will need:
– Coca-Cola NCAA® 4 pack cans of Vanilla coke and Cherry coke {You can get 4 Coca-Cola NCAA® Final Four Pack available at Walmart (Coke Zero, Cherry Coke, Vanilla Coke) for $5, or 2 for $3 in certain areas of the country.}
– Tequila
– Vodka
– A lime
– A lemon

2 Quick & Easy drinks using Coca Cola
I decided to whip up these delicious alcoholic drinks after finding the Coca-Cola NCAA® Final Four Pack available at Walmart! They are so yummy and these will definitely be a regular in our house when we want a little drink at night!

What’s your favorite Coca Cola drnk?! Do you think you will try one of these yummy drinks?!

My favorite green young living essential oils

I meant to post this last week on St. Patricks Day, but last week was a bit crazy here. Sunday and Monday our internet decided to go out for whatever reason. Well, it finally came back on Tuesday, but then a transformer blew in our neighborhood so, we were without power for about five and a half hours! Thank god it wasn’t a hot day. I decided to go ahead and post it this week anyways instead of not posting about it at all because, I truly love these oils! Alright, lets get to it!

Spearmint. I mainly love this one because of the smell. I want it everywhere! I diffuse if often with other oils because it smells SO damn good! It also helps support the respiratory and nervous systems* and may help open and release emotional blocks leading to a sense of balance and well-being. Spearmint may also be used to enhance the flavor of food.

Peppermint. This is seriously one of my favorite oils and I carry it everywhere. It works so amazing with headaches!!! I get them often so I always have this on hand.

Here’s a little info about it: it has a strong, clean, fresh, minty aroma. One of the oldest and most highly regarded herbs for soothing digestion, it may also restore digestive efficiency.* Jean Valnet MD studied peppermint’s supportive effect on the liver and respiratory systems. Other scientists have also researched peppermint’s role in improving taste and smell when inhaled. Dr. William N. Dember of the University of Cincinnati studied peppermint’s ability to improve concentration and mental sharpness. Alan Hirsch MD studied peppermint’s ability to directly affect the brain’s satiety center, which triggers a sensation of fullness after meals. This powerful essential oil is often diluted before topical application. Peppermint may also be used to enhance the flavor of food and water

Stress away. This one is so amazing. I love putting it on my wrists when I’m really stressed or if I’m stressed over a deadline while I’m working, I’ll put it in the diffuser next to me and it helps calm me down and get what I need to get done without freaking out.

A little info about it: It is a natural solution created to combat normal stresses that creep into everyday life. Stress Away is the first product to contain the unique stress-relieving combination of lime and vanilla pure, therapeutic-grade essential oils. Stress Away also includes copaiba and lavender to reduce mental rigidity and restore equilibrium. Featuring powerful plant constituents, such as the cedrol found in cedarwood and the eugenol that occurs naturally in vanilla, Stress Away can help induce relaxation and reduce occasional nervous tension.*

Peace & Calming. YESSS is all I can say about that. Jk, I can say more. This helped me with my restless leg syndrome when I was pregnant. I also use it now with another oil to help me sleep and it works so well. I also love diffusing it when the babies are fussy because, it quickly calms them down and puts them into dream land.

Here’s a little info about it: It is a gentle, fragrant blend. When diffused, it helps calm tensions and uplift the spirit, promoting relaxation and a deep sense of peace. When massaged on the bottoms of the feet, it can be a wonderful prelude to a peaceful night’s rest. Peace & Calming may be especially calming and comforting to young children after an overactive and stressful day.

Last, but not least, Vanillamint Lip Balm. I love anything mint flavored so, I love having this taste on my lips. It’s also not sticky and goes on so smooth and it lasts a long time. I love it!

What’s your favorite green young living product?!

2 things I need to help me stay active

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #FitToPlay #CollectiveBias

Staying active is something I have to do. I am a wife, I have four little ones, I’m a full time blogger, a full time stay at home mom, a writer, a picture taker, and so much more. My kids alone keep me pretty darn busy throughout the day and lets not even begin to get into everything I do inbetween taking care of them, playing with the, diapers, bottles, schoolwork, etc. If you are new to my blog, a little something you may not know is that I have a bad bag. I found out almost two years ago that I have two herniated discs in my back and one of them is pushing down on a nerve in my leg. Despite living with daily pain, I have to keep going every day because that’s what happens when you are a mom of multiples, have a house to run, and a job to do. When my monthly friend decided to play a visit, it hurts my back so bad. I don’t get normal front cramps, I get back cramps so, you can imagine the toll it takes on my back when I’m on it. Even still, I have too much to do to slow down.

I have so many things in the past to help out and keep me going, but it wasn’t until I discovered two things that I now can’t live without!

1. Playtex® Sport® Combo Packs. As an active momma, I am constatly moving, running, bending, and playing throughout the day. Before I found these, I was always worried about not being fully protected and lets face it ladies, that is the worst thing ever, can I get an amen?! Thankfully, I now have the confidence I need to go about my normal routine and not have to worry if things are going to get messy! The NEW! Playtex® Sport® now available in Pads, Liners and Combo Packs at Walmart! Now Sport Level Protection™ pads, liners and combo packs with Flexfit™ design to twist and turn with your body. Don’t let your period get in the way. PlayOn!

2. My Essential Oils! Not only do they help with my mood during my period, but they also help with the pain! I know since I started using these, my kids are a lot happier that I’m not having to tell them to “hold on” or “I can’t right now.” I use Joy + Valor to boost my mood and I create a rub of Valor + Lavender + Panaway to rub on my back and it helps so much!!

I love being an active mom and I’m glad I can continue to be one! What is your favorite acitivity? Besides playing with my kids, I’m currently into yoga!

Do you think you will give Playtex® Sport® combo packs a try?! You can find the at Walmart by the shampoo/bodywash aisles! Be sure to check them out on Facebook and Instagram as well!

Fun snack ideas for the Kids’ Choice Awards

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #KidsChoiceDrink #CollectiveBias

We absolutely love Nickelodeon in this house! My boys especially, but I’ve left it on to watch Victorious {who else?!} long after they are done watching Spongebob Squarepants, Paw Patrol, Dora the Explorer, or The Fairly Odd parents; just to name a few. So, it should come as no surprise that we are so excited to watch the Kids’ Choice Awards this year on March 28th! We also happen to love Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters, which is the official drink for the Kids’ Choice Awards. My kids love them and I have no problem admitting that I still drink Capri Sun to this day. What can I say, they are such a delicious lightly fruit flavored water, and I love that Capri Sun Roarin’ Waters is only thirty calories! That’s a win in my book! This year, I thought it would be fun to make some yummy snacks to eat while we watch the awards. These are all simple, quick, and fun!

Weekend Wrap Up

Happy Sunday! It’s raining here today so, we are staying warm inside with lots of cuddles, baking, and movie watching! I should probably use this time to catch up on laundry too, but with a family of six, I kind of hate laundry so, I’ll just cuddle instead! Welcome to my new weekly weekend wrap up post! Each Sunday I’ll be featuring blog posts from the week, some IG accounts I’m loving, pix from the week that I never posted, and more!

Posts from this week.

1. I made these delicious Jolly Rancher Popsicles. They were a huge hit with Jay & Kage and they are already begging me to make more! I can guarantee your kids will love them! ;) 2. I shared my February Ipsy Glam Bag a little late, but I really liked everything I got and I can’t wait to try out all of the new products! 3. Another thing my kids loved this week was the yummy Big Hero 6 treats I made. They devoured them while we watched the movie! Have you seen the movie yet? I thought it was so cute! 4. I shared a story I’ve never lived down and why I’ve already started thinking of prepaid phone plans for Jay.

Beauty & The Boys // Why I'm already thinking of prepaid plans for Jay. #ChangingPrepaid #ad #cbias

Wondering what my post title is about?! How about a fun little back story that I still haven’t lived down to this day. I don’t remember how old I was when I got a phone through my parents account. I think I was about thirteen, but when I was about fifteen, I had discovered that I could get on the internet on my phone and chat with my friends, mainly the guy I was crushing on back then. Little did I know, my phone didn’t have unlimited web, and my parents had no idea I was even using the internet at the time. Well, that all changed when they received the next month’s phone bill, which I had apparently ran up to a thousand dollars. Yep, a thousand big ones. My parents were beyond angry and I was in huge trouble. It didn’t matter that I hadn’t known that I was being charged for every aim message I sent from my phone, all that mattered was that I had put my parents down $1,000. I didn’t have a phone for awhile after that and I learned my lesson. I wound up with a prepaid phone plan after that happened for a little while, but that is exactly what brings me to my point about Jay. I wasn’t really introduced to computer or cell phones until I was about twelve. From then on, I grew up with internet, computers, laptops, and cell phones.

Beauty & The Boys // Big Hero 6 Baymax Treat Balls #BigHero6MovieNight #ad #cbias

Being a family of six, means life is super busy, chaotic, and fun. The only time during the day that we are all sitting down together is during dinner and during reading time before bed. Otherwise, we are go, go, going all day long. I have two planners. One is for blogging and the other one is for our life. At the beginning of every month, I sit down and plan out as much of our month as I can. One thing that goes on there every month, is family movie night. I try to schedule two family movie nights a month because, we love sitting down as a family; popping in a kid-friendly movie, enjoying some yummy snacks, and cuddling up on the couch with my boys. This month for one of our family movie nights we watched Big Hero 6!
